The Durham Patchwork Market

header

Come chill with us and grab some good beer at Patchwork Market!

The Durham Patchwork Market began in late 2014 to create a space for local vintage vendors and creatives to sell their goods to the community. Held monthly, the Patchwork Market has been a consistent event the first Saturday of each month. Fullsteam Brewery has generously allowed the Patchwork Market to set up shop each month. This allows for the market to be held indoors – rain or shine – and keeps admission free. The Patchwork Market will continue to grow each month and provide opportunities for the creative development in the Durham community.

Manor House Candlelight Tours

christmas applesDuring the month of November, staff and volunteers will be decorating each of the eight principle rooms of the Manor House by theme and color, including natural flora and greenery inspired by the Foys’ Colonial through Victorian family history – with a few contemporary flourishes to echo the family’s four centuries in coastal North Carolina.

With special care and attention to the adornment of each room, the front parlor will feature a magnificent live tree, the morning room will reflect the American spirit of red, white and blue, and the children’s room is always a favorite among young and old alike.  Who can resist candy canes and stockings hung with care?

Advanced reservations are required. Tours are limited to 15 guests.  Admission price is $15.00 per person, and includes refreshments in the courtyard after the tour. Ticket price also includes admission to the Star of  Wonder, Star of Night festivities on the grounds.

Guided Candlelight Tours begin in the Manor House basement on the hour at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
